Wall Plate Elbow

The SharkBite PRESS Wall Plate Elbow is used to join a male thread.

It is manufactured in PPSU (polyphenylsulfone), a high-performance technopolymer plastic and its thread is a CW617N brass insert. It has a thread type BSP according to ISO 228-1.

This heating and plumbing fixture has a design in battlements that makes it perfectly integrated into the body of PPSU avoiding displacement of the insert. In addition, it facilitates the fastening of your hexagonal head with a key so that the installer can tighten correctly with a full warranty.

It has a flat base with holes to be screwed to the SharkBite Wall Plate Elbow which is designed to maintain 150 mm between its axes. This distance is used by most manufacturers of shower faucets and bathtubs.

It is a press fitting with a special conical sealing gasket made of EPDM peroxide 70. This guarantees the tightness inside the tube. The cap is made of AISI 304 stainless steel, which offers durability throughout its life.

SharkBite PRESS Wall Plate Elbow is resistant to corrosion and impervious to scale and calcareous deposits in water. It has excellent resistance to hydrolysis and chemicals, even under long-term exposure to high temperatures. The fixing base elbow is safe for hygienic applications and does not contain harmful substances. It is suitable for drinking water installations and for heating installations. The chemical resistance to building materials allows this fitting to be embedded in walls and floors without the need for protection.

The Wall Plate Elbow is joined to the pipeline by a radial compression tightening tool. It is compatible with the three most common types of tightening on the market, U, RF and TH. It has an optimum size for embedded installations in low thickness partitions and, in addition, total compatibility with PEXa, PERT, PERT EVOH, PEXa EVOH and Multilayer pipes with Aluminium in ø 16 and 20mm.

This fitting is manufactured under ISO / 21003, ISO / 15875 and ISO / 22391. It is tested and approved for use at temperature and maximum working pressure of 95ºC to 10 bar.
