Connection with Male Thread and Brass Body

The SharkBite NEXUS Connection with Male Thread and Brass Body is used to connect a female thread.

Its body is manufactured entirely from brass CW617N. It has a thread type BSP according to ISO 228-1.

It has a special conical sealing gasket made from EPDM peroxide 70 that guarantees the tightness inside the tube. The AISI 304 stainless steel cap guarantees its lifelong durability.

SharkBite PRESS Connection with Male Thread and Brass Body is resistant to corrosion and impervious to scale and calcareous deposits in the water. This press fitting has excellent resistance to hydrolysis and chemicals, even under long-term exposure to high temperatures.

This fitting is safe for hygienic applications and does not contain harmful substances. It is a plumbing fixture suitable for drinking water installations and heating installations. Chemical resistance to building materials allows the press fitting to be embedded in walls and floors without the need for protection. The Connection with Male Thread and Brass Body is attached to the pipe using a press system.

The SharkBite PRESS Connection with Male Thread and Brass Body is connected to the pipeline by means of a radial compression tightening tool. It is compatible with the three most common types of tightening on the market, U, RF and TH. It has an optimum size for embedded installations in low thickness partitions and, in addition, total compatibility with PEXa, PERT, PERT EVOH, PEXa EVOH and Multilayer pipes with Aluminium in ø 16 and 20mm.

Connections with Male Thread and Brass Body are manufactured under ISO / 21003, ISO / 15875 and ISO / 22391, tested and approved for use at temperature and maximum working pressure of 95ºC to 10 bar.
