Elbow

The SharkBite PRESS Elbow is used to join two pipes of the same diameter.

It is manufactured from PPSU (polyphenylsulfone, a high-performance techno polymer plastic).

The press fitting has the conical sealing gasket made from EPDM peroxide 70 that guarantees the tightness in the internal part of the tube. The fitting cap is made from AISI 304 stainless steel, offering durability throughout its life.

SharkBite PRESS Elbow is resistant to corrosion and impervious to scale and calcareous deposits in the water. It offers excellent resistance to hydrolysis and chemicals, even under long-term exposure to high temperatures. This fitting is perfectly safe for hygienic applications and does not contain harmful substances. It is suitable for drinking water installations and for heating installations. Chemical resistance to building materials allows the heating accessory to be embedded in walls and floors without the need for protection.

The elbow is joined to the pipeline by a radial compression tightening tool. It is compatible with the three most common types of tightening on the market, U, RF and TH. It has an optimal size for embedded installations in low thickness partitions and, in addition, total compatibility with pipes PEXa, PERT, PERT EVOH, PEXa EVOH and Multilayer with Aluminium in ø 16, 20, 25, 26 and 32mm.

Elbows are manufactured under ISO / 21003, ISO / 15875 and ISO / 22391, tested and approved for use at temperature and maximum working pressure of 95ºC to 10 bar.
