PERT EVOH Pipe SharkBite: Suitable for underfloor heating installations.

The PERT, type II with EVOH final layer, has great flexibility. The PERT EVOH pipe is very resistant to corrosion and chemical agents. It has a smooth bore. It is light in weight, flexible and has an anti-diffusion barrier of oxygen.

The EVOH barrier is a thin layer of ethyl vinyl alcohol that prevents the permeability of the pipe and the diffusion of oxygen through it. This avoids the corrosion of the metallic parts and gives extended life of the whole installation. The chemical resistance to building materials allows the PERT EVOH pipe to be embedded in walls and floors without the need for protection. It has total compatibility with eurokonus accessories of union SharkBite Floor and SharkBite PRESS, but isn’t suitable for use with the accessories of the SharkBite NEXUS system.

PERT EVOH pipes are tested and approved for use at a maximum working temperature of 70C. The PERT EVOH pipe is manufactured according to ISO 22391 and DIN 4726.
