Swivel Nut Union

The SharkBite PRESS Swivel Nut Union is used to connect a male thread.

It is made from PPSU (polyphenylsulfone, a high-performance technopolymer plastic) and incorporates a mobile CW617N brass adapter on one end. The thread is type BSP, according to norms ISO 228-1.

Its conical sealing gasket made from peroxide EPDM 70 which guarantees the tightness in the inner part of the tube. The cap is made from AISI 304 hypertempled stainless steel that guarantees its lifelong durability.

SharkBite PRESS swivel nut union is corrosion resistant and impervious to scale and calcareous deposits in the water. In addition to having excellent resistance to hydrolysis and chemicals, even under long-term exposure to high temperatures.

This press fitting is perfectly safe for hygienic applications and does not contain harmful substances. It is suitable for drinking water installations and for heating installations. Chemical resistance to building materials allows this plumbing fixture to be embedded in walls and floors without the need for protection.

The swivel nut union is joined to the pipeline by means of a radial compression tightening tool. It is compatible with the three most common types of tightening on the market, U, RF and TH. It has an optimal size for embedded installations in low thickness partitions and, in addition, total compatibility with pipes PEXa, PERT, PERT EVOH, PEXa EVOH and Multilayer with Aluminium in ø 16, 20, 25, 26 and 32mm.

The swivel nut unions are manufactured under ISO / 21003, ISO / 15875 and ISO / 22391, tested and approved for use at temperature and maximum working pressure of 95ºC to 10 bar.
