PEX-a UV Black Protection Pipe

Reticulated Polyethylene PEX-a UV Black Protection Pipe SharkBite. This PEX-a UV Black Protection pipe is ideal for outdoor use. It is suitable for plumbing, heating, water conditioning, industry, livestock and agriculture installations.

These UV resistant pipes are manufactured by peroxide Xa system, which provides great flexibility and perfect homogenization of the crosslinking. PEX-a pipes are very resistant to corrosive chemical agents. They have an excellent thermal memory, smooth and are lightweight and flexible. Its outer coating, or last layer, is made of 3% carbon black, which gives it its characteristic black colour and makes it resistant to ultraviolet rays. Because this material absorbs ultraviolet rays, it does not allow the crystallization / degradation of the pipeline over time.

The chemical resistance to building materials allows the SharkBite PEX-a UV Black Protection pipe to be embedded in walls, floors or outdoors without the need for protection. They have full compatibility with SharkBite NEXUS, PRESS and Universal accessories.

They are tested and approved for use at a maximum working temperature of 95ºC. This UV resistant pipe is manufactured according to ISO 15875-AS 2492 standards.
