Information
The SharkBite PRESS Elbow Radiator Connection serves to make the connection with a radiator cutting key.
It is manufactured in PPSU, Polyphenylsulfone (high performance technopolymer plastic), incorporating a copper chromed adapter of 300 or 750 mm of 15 mm x 1mm at one end.
This elbow for radiators has the conical sealing gasket made of EPDM peroxide 70 and guarantees the tightness in the internal part of the tube. The cap is made of AISI 304 stainless steel, giving total durability throughout its useful life.
SharkBite PRESS elbow radiator connection is resistant to corrosion and impervious to scale and calcareous deposits in the water. It has excellent resistance to hydrolysis and chemicals, even under long-term exposure to high temperatures.
It is an safe press fitting for hygienic applications and does not contain harmful substances. It is suitable for drinking water installations and for heating installations. Chemical resistance to building materials allows the fitting to be embedded in walls and floors without the need for protection.
The SharkBite PRESS radiator connection elbow is joined to the pipeline by a radial compression tightening tool. It is compatible with the three most common types of tightening on the market, U, RF and TH. It has an optimal size for embedded installations in low thickness partitions and, in addition, total compatibility with PEXa, PERT, PERT EVOH, PEXa EVOH and Multilayer pipes with Aluminium in ø 16 and 20mm
Elbows radiator connection are manufactured under ISO / 21003, ISO / 15875 and ISO / 22391 standards, tested and approved for use at temperature and maximum working pressure of 95ºC to 10 bar.
